Quick answers

My gauge won’t connect

Make sure the gauge is switched on and awake, Bluetooth is on, and the app has permission: Bluetooth on iOS, or Nearby devices on Android, in Settings → Apps → Get a Grip → Permissions. If your gauge has gone to sleep, wake it using its controls.

Can I train without a gauge?

Yes. Tap “Try demo mode” on the Today screen to explore live feedback, or “Start without a gauge” to run your routine as a timer-only session.

How do I share a routine?

Open the routine’s menu and choose Share. The QR code contains the whole routine. On Android or iOS, choose Scan a routine on the new-routine card to import it. You can also open a shared routine link in the app. No account or server involved.

Which gauges work with Get a Grip?

Get a Grip works with the Tindeq Progressor, with experimental support for several other Bluetooth gauges and crane scales. Experimental devices are marked in the app. Every routine can also run as a timer-only session with no gauge at all.
