Delete your Get a Grip data
Get a Grip, provided by Nuri Bruner, has no app account and no developer-hosted training database. Your training records and information you send to support are handled separately.
Request deletion of support information
Email support@nuri.run from the address you used to contact us. Say that you want your Get a Grip support information deleted and, if helpful, identify the conversation. Do not send your training history or identity documents for an ordinary deletion request.
Request deletion by emailThis covers your support messages, email address, diagnostic information and attachments you sent. We may ask for proportionate verification. Under the GDPR, we normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions.
Support correspondence is normally kept only while needed to resolve the request and relevant follow-up, then deleted or de-identified. Limited information may be retained longer when a legal obligation or legal claim requires it. We will explain any applicable exception and retention period when responding to your request.
Delete records on your phone
Remove individual workouts and other records in the app. On Android, Settings → Apps → Get a Grip → Storage → Clear storage removes the local database and preferences. Uninstalling also removes local app data.
Manage Android cloud backups separately so an old backup does not restore deleted records. On iPhone, delete records while connected to iCloud if you want the deletions to synchronize; uninstalling alone does not delete private CloudKit records. Manage iCloud storage and device backups in Apple settings.
Delete exported files and copies held by recipients separately. The developer cannot remotely delete data held only on your phone or in your private platform backup.
Leave the Android tester group
Open the Get a Grip Android Beta group in Google Groups and leave through your membership settings. You can also ask support@nuri.run to remove your membership. Google’s own records are governed by its privacy policy.
